Dtps. Anna-Larati Soekardi

dtps. blush clone

dtps. magenta clone

This a hybrid between Doritis pulcherrima and Phalaenopsis parishii var. lobii registered in 1980. The clone depicted on the left was made with the chumpornensis form of Doritis pulcherrima, which itself is paler in color and has passed this trait on to its progeny. Also show is another plant of this grex, but this time made with a 'regular' pulcherimma, resulting in deeper magenta flowers.

The flower form is strongly influenced by parishii, particularly in its flat spade lip, but the infusion of pulcherrima has resulted in a higher flower count and hybrid vigor.

These plants are perfect for those with limited space, and can bloom on several spikes over many months. The plant shown are both blooming in a  2" to 2.5" square deep pots!
