Phrag. Longueville
(Hanne Popow x longifolium)

               Longueville

Longueville with two blooms

This lovely hybrid combines a primary besseae hybrid with a species, longifolium. However, the hybrid pictured was made with the compact form of longifolium, variety gracile. This has  much smaller delicate flowers than its larger growing cousin. The result is a delightful compact growing plant which produces several flowers per spike and which open semi-sequentially.

Though there is probably considerable variety in this hybrid, most in this grex should have blush to rose pouches and creamy white petals, again variably blushed in pink.
